“Lhyfe is a company that produces hydrogen. But not any kind of hydrogen, only sustainable hydrogen. (…) And the only thing that is emitted by our factory is oxygen”, explains Matthieu Guesné, the founder and CEO of the startup.

Hi there!

I am Matthieu GUESNE, the founder and CEO of LHYFE.

LHYFE is a company that produces Hydrogen

but not any kind of Hydrogen,

only sustainable Hydrogen.

How do we manufacture sustainable Hydrogen today?

We use electricity from wind mills and we pour that electricity

directly in a machine that produces Hydrogen.

And the only thing that it is emitted by our factory of Hydrogen is oxygen.

It means that today women and men have invented the way of producing Hydrogen,

this new fuel for the mobility without emitting any green house gas.

Only oxygen as a by-product, this is magic…

And this green Hydrogen, we are going to pour this Hydrogen

into the buses tanks, into the trucks tanks,

into the cars tanks of everybody’s

in Vendée, in Sarthe, in Pays de la Loire (Atlantic France).

Next summer, you will be able to run your car that will emit only water,

that will be totally silent.

You will be able to run your car with Lhyfe sustainable Hydrogen

This is the plant we are producing.

Here, we found an ecosystem, an ecosystem in Pays de la Loire (Atlantic France)

that is totally unique.

You have R&D centers,

you have the availability of all the renewable units to produce Hydrogen,

you have companies,

you have cities that are willing to go to work on sustainable programs

and you have also the future of Hydrogen

that can be here down tomorrow producing Hydrogen offshore.

You have all the industries that are able to produce those systems

that will tomorrow produce Hydrogen offshore from offshore wind mills

and bring back this new fuel that is totally ecological

back to the shore and use that into the buses, the trucks, etc.

This is totally unique.

that’s why Lhyfe has implanted its R&D center, its production center

and its R&D team in Pays de la Loire (Atlantic France).
