Beesbusy is a start-up from Nantes which developed a project and task management solution. With the Covid-19 crisis and the growth of remote work, the company gained many new users.

In a single month, Beesbusy has doubled its user base! The start-up founded in Nantes in 2017 offers online software designed to manage collaborative projects. A must-have with home confinement and the rise in telecommuting. The French government has therefore added Beesbusy to the list of tools which are useful to businesses during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Both professional and personal use

Many projects are never completed because of a lack of organization, transparency, and team planning. With Beesbusy, I wanted to offer a simple, collaborative and elaborate project management solution.

Geoffroy Lacour, founder

Beesbusy suits all kinds of uses. In the professional field, it is used by companies to organise  work (marketing, recruitment, administrative tasks, etc.), but also to manage customer support. Furthermore, the tool allows personal organisation to be dealt with: to-do, shopping and gift lists, birthday or wedding planning, etc.

A pro version launched last year at Las Vegas CES

The project management solution can be used for free with basic features. But Beesbusy launched two pay-per-use plans at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show in January 2019.

The “business” plan (€9.99/month/user when paid annually) includes features such as the creation of Gantt charts and team schedules, synchronisation with external calendars, import into Trello and much more. The “enterprise” plan (€19.99) allows time tracking and the ability to customize the tool with the business colors.

€1 million fundraising in preparation

Around €2 million have been invested in Beesbusy since its creation, with several fundraising events and financial support from Bpifrance. The company was initially planning to fundraise  €1 million next September, but it could be delayed because of the Coronavirus crisis. However, the pandemic significantly increased Beesbusy´s brand awareness and accelerated companies´ digital transition.
