Conversational marketing: eKonsilio, call advisers for human-centric sales

The start-up eKonsilio provides call advisers for car dealerships. The company from Le Mans believes that humans must play an active role in sales and develops innovative ways to improve the customer experience such as using smart glasses.

When buying an expensive product like a car, consumers often appreciate being advised by an expert. eKonsilio provides remote advisers available 7 days a week from 6 AM to 12 PM. The company works for major brands such as Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche.

A fast growing start-up aiming at international markets

The company was created in Le Mans by Guillaume Legrand in 2016, when he was still studying. eKonsilio now has more than 30 employees and expects to increase this number to 50 by the end of the year. The 2019 turnover stood at €900,000, almost triple that of the preceding year. 

The start-up recently invested €350,000 in a new 260 m² headquarters in Le Mans. eKonsilio targets various markets in Europe and has therefore created an office in the multicultural city of Barcelona. Call advisers work from there for the German market, and the company is also developing its business in Spain and Italy. 

Innovative solutions and business diversification

Faced with the Coronavirus pandemic, eKonsilio adapted and made the most of technology. For example, the conversational marketing agency now uses smart glasses to present the products without the client having to come to the shop. 

The company is also thinking about exploring new markets which could be interested in its expertise such as the real estate sector.
